ALENSY ENERGY SOLUTIONS is seeking to appoint an ENGINEERING MANAGER (EPC). The Engineering Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating all engineering activities across EPC projects, from early-stage design development through construction support and as-built delivery. The role combines technical authority, design management, and team leadership, ensuring that engineering outputs are technically sound, constructible, compliant, and aligned with project schedules and commercial objectives. This is a hands-on engineering leadership role requiring strong technical judgement, structured coordination, and the ability to guide engineers and draftsmen within a fast-paced EPC environment.

Requirements
- Beng / BEngTech / BScEng / Advanced Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Multi-Disciplinary Engineering
- Design Control & Documentation
- Equivalent engineering qualification with demonstrable EPC project experience
- 7-10+ years’ experience in an engineering or EPC project environment
- Proven experience leading engineering teams or coordinating multi-disciplinary design scopes
- Strong understanding of utility-scale PV plant design, balance-of-plant systems, and EPC execution
- Ability to interpret standards, specifications, grid studies, and technical contracts
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is required to assist the internal drafting team
- High proficiency in engineering coordination, technical reporting, and decision-making
- Utility-scale solar PV EPC projects
- Design management within Owner’s Engineer or EPC frameworks
- Familiarity with African project environments and regional grid requirements
- Experience supporting construction, commissioning, and as-built documentation
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD
