Job Description

To render a management and engineering support function on construction and labour of the medium and high voltage electricity network of the City of Windhoek.

Key Performance Areas

Provides an engineering & maintenance function on construction activities in the Distribution Division.

Provides an engineering & management function on labor activities in the Distribution Division.

Performs leadership, training and financial control duties.

Performs planning and administrative duties.

REQUIREMENTS:

BSc/ B. Eng Degree (Electrical Engineering) or B-Tech Degree (Electrical Engineering) or as required by the Engineering Council of Namibia for the registration of an Incorporated/Professional Engineer. A minimum period of (6) years post qualification experience as a Professional Engineer or a minimum period of six (6) years post qualification experience as an Incorporated Engineer. Registration as a Professional Engineer or Incorporated Engineer with a valid code B/BE drivers license.
