Key Responsibilities
- Collect and inspect medical history forms from previous day clinics to ensure all donor questions are answered and required information is recorded.
- Accurately update and maintain donor records in the computerized database and perform ongoing data maintenance.
- File donor medical history forms and maintain organised, secure record-keeping systems.
- Prepare, dispatch and follow up on donor membership cards.
- Promote and comply with health, safety and security standards, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Train and assess newly appointed Donor Records Clerks and participate in mentorship of staff.
- Respond to donor queries, stay updated on developments in blood transfusion, and perform any other reasonable duties assigned.

- Grade 12 (matric).
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word & Excel).
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
