Key Responsibilities

Assist the Project Manager in the overall management and delivery of road and highway construction projects.
Coordinate daily project activities and monitor construction progress.
Support project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures.
Support procurement and materials management activities.
Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of project activities.
Assist in resolving technical, operational, and contractual issues.
Oversee site operations in the absence of the Project Manager.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Highway Engineering, or a related field.
Professional registration with a recognized engineering body is an advantage.
Postgraduate qualification in Project Management is an added advantage.
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in road and highway infrastructure projects.
Proven experience in project coordination and construction supervision.
Knowledge of road construction techniques, pavement works, bridges, drainage systems, and earthworks.
Experience with contract administration and project reporting.
Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and infrastructure project management practices.
