Duty Station: Windhoek Vocational Training Centre

Reporting to: Accountant 

Employment status: Permanent

Number of positions: One (1)

Remuneration: Market related

Key Performance Areas:

• To ensure timeous debt collection in order to optimize cash flow and minimize risk.
• Timeously alert management on potential fund collection challenges.
• Maintain accurate debtors records
• Process invoices/credit notes/student pro-forma statements.
• Students/customer/stakeholders
• Preparation/reconciliation of student’s accounts.
• Process incoming payments in compliance
  with financial policies and procedures.
• Perform any other day to day financial transactions as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Namibian citizen
• Diploma in Accounting and Finance
• Proven working experience of 5 years in debtors’ functions.

• Exceptional computer skills in Microsoft Office, knowledge to use pastel Accounting system would be an added advantage.

Competency requirements:

• Solid understanding of basic accounting
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Maintain level of confidentiality
