JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Controller will be responsible to ensure that sales controller, stock/production control and the general financial control environment is maintained and improved at Ohorongo Cement. This position is based in Windhoek.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Update and maintain selling prices and regions.
Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly annual sales reports.
Prepare and analyze production and stock reports and identify any potential problems.
Maintain system of controls over accounting transactions.
Assist in the preparation of the monthly business report.
Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors.
Assist in the preparation of the annual budget.
Any other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

Grade 12
Accounting Degree with articles preferred.
CIMA or newly qualified CA qualification would be advantageous.
At least three (3) years’ work experience in a manufacturing environment.
Passion for cost and management accounting.
SAP knowledge and experience would be advantageous.
Computer literate with a distinct proficiency in MS Excel.
Good interpersonal skills; must be able to work across different functions.
High level of stress tolerance, discipline and decisiveness and ability to achieve deadlines.
Must be willing to travel from time to time.
Fluency in English is a pre-requisite.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
