CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

The individual is responsible for directing and controlling the financial planning, financial management, financial accounting and board reporting functions for Nam-mic Financial Services Holdings (Pty) Ltd, and its subsidiaries, ensuring that value added and professional financial management and accounting policies, practices, systems and solutions are developed, implemented and controlled in support of strategic objectives and in compliance with International Financial Accounting and Reporting Standards and statutory regulations.

The individual will also be directing and controlling the administration division for Nam-mic Financial Services Holdings (Pty) Ltd, and its subsidiaries ensuring that procurement policies, best practices and service level agreements are established, monitored and maintained for optimal cost, process and quality efficiency. This position will form part of the management team and report to the Chief Executive Officer.

The successful candidate will possess a minimum CA or post-graduate qualification with at least 8 years’ experience in the Financial Accounting field at management level of which 3 must

have been spent management level. S/he will be a recognised expert professional with knowledge of IAS and IFRS, as well as Taxation rules and regulations.

Computer literacy (MS Office), Leadership, Communication, Networking, Time and Project Management skills are essential.
