CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (DESIGNATE)

The successful applicant, will be ultimately be responsible to the Board of Nam- mic Financial Services Holdings (Pty) Ltd.

Main Purpose

The Chief Executive Officer shall provide strong leadership to management and staff and is ultimately responsible for the effective and successful management of the company, exercising overall control and supervision of the operations of the Investment Company and subsidiaries.

The scope of the position includes:

• Provide strategic leadership to the organisation
• Develop and deliver on Nam-mic’s objectives in line with its strategic plan and the strategic direction given by its stakeholders
• Establish and manage relationships with the Board, regulatory bodies, Unions and other key stakeholders
• Manage risks to the company of which corporate governance is a key element
• Ensure financial assets/resources are maintained under acceptable risk appetite as directed by the Board and ensure that all regulatory requirements are met
• Manage optimisation on synergies and establishing cross selling opportunities between strategic business partners, associates and Nam-mic Financial Services
• Manage the needs assessment and product development process to create value for the customer
• Develop and inculcate a high performance and values driven culture that perpetuates excellence

The preferred candidate profile requires:

The successful candidate will possess a relevant tertiary qualification and or a post-graduate business management qualification with at least 10 years’ experience of which 5 years must have been spent at an executive management level. Sound knowledge of investments, risk management practices, budgeting and planning including leadership skills are essential.
