Key Responsibilities
- Cash Receiving and banking: Receiving and capturing of cash.
- Capture receipt successfully into the administration system.
- Provide daily recons to the finance department of all cash receipts received within the company.
- Preparing of deposit slips of all cash receipts received
- Bank cash daily
- Client Communication (Alternative to Receptionist): Liaise with customers regarding customer queries, payments, and general information.
- Answer a high volume of calls and maintain a rapid response rate according to agreed standards.
- Log information on calls received, where required and maintain detailed and accurate records.
- Communicate and liaise verbally and in writing between customers/visitors/enquirers and relevant staff and interpret and respond clearly and effectively to spoken requests over the phone or in person, and to verbal or written instructions.
- Explaining products and benefits to customers losing focus.
- Policy Administration: Capture all new business application for the office on the administration system.
- Submit policy amendments to underwriter.
- Register Claims on the administration system
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Certificate of Business Administration will be advantageous.
- Computer Literate
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Proficiency in Afrikaans will be an added advantage.
- At least 2 years’ experience in customer service or administration
