To provide support to the Director: Provincial Infrastructure Delivery Management which entails the assessment and analysis of provincial infrastructure plans, budget and expenditure, performance information, performance and strategic plans and assist with the implementation of the Infrastructure Delivery Management System (IDMS) in provinces.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate the performance of provincial infrastructure budgets and expenditure, plans, and implementation schedules, as well as performance and strategic plans.
- Analyse infrastructure monthly reports and performance reviews.
- Preparation of presentations and briefing notes for internal and external use.
- Provide secretariat and administrative support for all infrastructure-related meetings/committees.
- Assist with research, special projects and information gathering on infrastructure delivery and management.
- Participate in the implementation of the Infrastructure Delivery Management System (IDMS) in provinces.
- Attend, participate and provide support at key infrastructure meetings/committees.
- Provide support to the Provincial Infrastructure Unit and respond to ad-hoc information needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve infrastructure delivery.
- Participate in the development of reports, memoranda, cabinet submissions, and other critical documentation.
- Perform any other related duties as instructed.
Requirements
- A Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6/7) in the Built Environment, Public Administration or similar
- 3 years’ experience in providing support or administration in infrastructure planning/project management/implementation or a similar working environment
- Knowledge and understanding of the Infrastructure Delivery Management System (IDMS) and Provincial Infrastructure Delivery Cycle
- Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Good computer literacy
- Ability to write reports and compile presentations
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel
