Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the WHS Alumni Strategy
- Manage and grow the alumni database
- Communicate with alumni through newsletters, social media, the WHS website and digital platforms
- Plan and coordinate reunions, networking events and special functions
- Initiate and mange alumni fundraising projects
- Promote mentorship and engagement opportunities between alumni and current learners
- Strengthen the WHS brand and cultivate lifelong relationships
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Senior Secondary Certificate (Minimum)
- Certificate or Diploma in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration, Event Management or Related field
- Proven experience in alumni relations, communications, event coordination or nonprofit development (adventurous)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong networking, organisational and project management abilities
- Excellent computer skills: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, D6 Communicator and general office systems
- Proficiency in Social media platforms and website content management
- Ability to work independently and a part of a team
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
