Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement account plans for all customers, with clear revenue and retention targets.
- Maintain a realistic, structured call roster for all customers.
- Provide weekly (or as agreed) written market updates to management.
- Monitor and report on competitor activity and pricing in the market.
- Resolve customer complaints and queries, acknowledge within 24 hours and resolve within five (5) business days, or provide the customer with a clear resolution timeline where investigation is required, to the satisfaction of both the customer and IGN.
- Conduct gap analysis on potential clients and convert into new business.
- Conduct regular cylinder audits at customer sites.
- Advise on product and service improvements based on customer needs.
- Perform other relevant duties as required.
Requirements
- Diploma/Certificate in Sales, Marketing or Business Administration.
- 5+ years sales experience in industrial gas, welding or a related technical B2B environment preferred; minimum 3 years considered for candidates with strong technical gas/welding sales exposure.
- Working knowledge of gases, gas equipment, welding equipment and consumables required.
- Proven, demonstrable sales track record (references/figures may be requested).
- Valid Namibian Driver’s License (minimum Code B).
- Comfortable compiling structured weekly sales and market reports (via Excel or company reporting format).
