Salary Scale  N$555,080 – N$589,055

Motor Vehicle allowance

Capital Cost    N$107,711 p. a.

Running Cost  N$30,566 p. a

Minimum requirements: A B-degree plus 9 years’ appropriate experience of which 6 years should be on the management level.

General responsibilities:       The incumbent will be responsible for organizing, directing,

coordinating and supervising the work of the Department Executive Policy Services, Research and Media Liaison to ensure provision of efficient executive support services to the President

DUTIES:

• To serve as the overall head of the Department
• To ensure that relevant and up-to date administrative and/or operational procedures, directives and guidelines are available within the Department and adhered to.
• To supervise the compilation of the budget for the Department and execution thereof.
• To coordinate the drafting of the speeches.
• To coordinate media engagements of the President.

Additional Requirements:

• Good understanding of the Namibian Media landscape
• Good understanding of the Performance Management System
