Logistics Manager

At least 5 years’ experience managing exploration project logistics or mining camps / sites, or similar projects, camps / sites in other industries e.g. (but not limited to) conservation, tourism or construction.

Vehicle fleet management, general equipment, warehouse, and stores management experience

Previous experience or courses in mineral exploration or mining highly advantageous Computer literate (MS Office minimum)

Good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage petty cash, purchasing and assist with project administration

Driver’s licence essential (with licence above Code B advantageous)

Emphasis on good organisational ability and practical Implementation with the ability to work in a diverse team environment

A strong background in Safety, Health and Environmental implementation advantageous, SHE will be a critical part of this role

Field-based in camps and at our regional exploration office/site in Omaruru Reporting to Senior Geologist / Exploration Manager

Starting date 1 October 2020 (or sooner if possible)
