Post Designation: Senior Magistrate
1 x Post: 1x Omaruru
Minimum Requirements: An LLB degree or four (4) year recognised legal qualification, plus three (3) years court experience. Possession of a valid driver s licence is a prerequisite and candidates from outside the Magistracy will be subjected to a psychometric test.
Duties:
The successful candidate will be required to perform all functions of a magistrate in a District court.
- Presiding in the criminal, civil, labour courts and family courts.
- Handling of quasi-judicial and administrative functions in the District Court.
