PROSECUTOR-GENERAL

JUDICIAL SERVICE COMMISSION

The Judicial Service Commission hereby invites suitably qualified and experienced persons to submit applications to be considered for possible appointment to the position of Prosecutor-General of Namibia.

The requirements for the position are the following:

1. CONSTITUTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

1.1 Legal qualifications that would entitle the applicant to practice in all courts of Namibia (these are stipulated in the Legal Practitioners Act, 1995).
1.2 The applicant should, by virtue of his or her experience, conscientiousness and integrity be a fit and proper person to be entrusted with the responsibilities of the Office of the Prosecutor-General.
