Job Description
To develop, establish and direct public participation strategies and programmes for the organisation in order to achieve high participatory levels among the residents of Windhoek.
Key Performance Areas
Plan, develop and implement the public participation policy and strategy.
Supervise the work/job activities of staff members in Section.
Plan the bi-annual public meetings and other ad hoc meetings for engagement with residents throughout the year.
Manage public and national events logistics and planning for the organization.
Plan the liaison between Council, departments and residents for service delivery.
Plan the establishment and maintenance of network links with key external stakeholders and partners.
Plan the training for community committee structures.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree: Public Administration/Business Administration/Community Development/Education/Social Sciences and Humanities with four (4) years job related experience. A code B/BE driver’s license.
