An excellent career opportunity exists for interested and qualified candidates to apply for the above-mentioned position at Feedmaster (Pty) Ltd, Windhoek.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Ensuring the correct stacking and filling of products as per laid down standards.

KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Always take precautionary steps to ensure good housekeeping and food safety
Keep forklift clean and in good state

Safely transports empty and loaded pallets with products as per laid down standards
Responsible for neat, safe stacking and placement of products in designated areas and locations as directed by superiors
Ensure that no damage is caused to products or pallets and proactively identify broken pallets which might damage bags
Take steps to pro-actively ensure stock rotation (FIFO)
Loading and off-loading of finished goods from trucks
Move finished goods to designated areas in the store daily
Check finished products quantities against Transfer Notes
At all times wear PPE as prescribed
Rip & Dip raw material bags as needed by production, picks up bags which fall of pallets
Weekly cleaning of mixer, conditioner and other machinery as requested by superiors
Daily pre-inspection of Bobcat and Forklift as per the prescribed inspection sheet

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION

Minimum Grade 12 with two (2) years’ experience as a Forklift & Bobcat Driver
OR
Grade 10 with five (5) years’ experience as a Forklift & Bobcat Driver
Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
Namibian Citizen
Must have a valid Forklift & Bobcat driver’s license and tracktor license will be an added advantaged.
