The Ministry of Health and Social Services (MoHSS) with support from the Global Fund Grant is looking for dynamic, suitably qualified and experienced candidate to fill the following Vacancy
| Position Title | : Insectary Technician (Senior Environmental Health Practitioner) Grade 8. |
| Total Cost to company Duration | : N$ 418 740.00 per annum.
: From Date of assumption to 31 December 2023 (Fixed term contract). |
| Duty Station Primary Roles | : Katima Mulilo- Zambezi Region.
: To ensure optimal quality and quantity of mosquitoes required for entomological evaluation of vector control activities in Namibia. To assist researchers to conduct various bioassays such as WHO insecticide resistance tests, wall bioassays, and any other necessary experiments as will be required by the Vector Control Program. To ensure quality and comprehensive record-keeping of protocols, SOPs, and insectary reports. |

Requirements |
: Registered as an Environmental Health Practitioner.
Preference will be given to applicants with three (3) years working experience in maning mosquito insectary colonies and morphological identification of southern African Malaria vectors. |
