DESCRIPTION
At Africa Personnel Services we always try to strengthen the organisation by adding the best people to our team. We are seeking a Recruiting Supervisor to help us search, identify, screen, and hire candidates for various roles at our client sites. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with others across multiple departments.
OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE
Provide input to ensure customer site teams are comprised of diverse, qualified individuals
Ensure that the staffing needs of our clients are met with a long-term strategy in mind
Form close relationships with clients to ensure clear expectations for candidates and interviewers
Create and implement end-to-end hiring processes to ensure a positive experience for candidates
RESPONSIBILITIES
Process and interview prospective employees for Service Level Agreement (SLA) positions.
Determine appropriate match of applicant skills with job responsibilities and support the administration of pre-employment testing and behavioral interviews.
Collaborate with site management and the client to understand and anticipate recruiting needs to ensure appropriate applicant flow.
Support retention-building activities to achieve and maintain retention goals.
Administration of all recruitment and employment activities.
Collaborate with operations, learning, and customers in recruitment process improvement plans.
Ensure that the performance of the Recruiters is on track.
REQUIREMENTS
At least five (5) years of successful support staff recruiting experience, preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced, customer-focused environment
Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in HR or general business
Strong interpersonal skills including strong verbal and effective written communication skills
Intermediate computer skills with the ability to use a variety of software packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Strong planning and organizing skills, especially prioritizing multiple projects/tasks
Effective time management skills
Behavior-based/targeted selection interviewing skills
Strong analytical skills
Strong people management skills for internal and external
