Salary scale : N$ 220,828-N$263,911 per annum
Transport Allowance : N$7,680.00 per annum
Housing Allowance : N$13,080.00 per annum
Minimum requirements: A National Diploma in Public Administration/Business
Management/Logistic at NQF Level 6 plus three (3) years experience in Warehouse and
Stock Management System, Transport, Maintenance and Auxiliary Services. A valid driver’s
license will be added advantage.
Job Summary: The incumbent will supervise operational staff under the Subdivision and
overhead the supervision of supporting staff.
Duties and responsibilities
Maintain and regularly update departmental supplier database, in terms of Public
Procurement Act,2015
Work with departmental staff to determine specifications for required goods and services
Coordinate with other divisions and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and
services
Expedite preparation of purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
Archive all contracts/supplier management documentations
Gather and collect information on supplier performance
Set up contract performance and feedback sessions with suppliers
Check completeness and status of all issued purchase orders
Keep record of accounts payable and internal client queries
Ensure compliance with State Finance Act and Treasury instructions
Facilitate bidding processes with Procurement Unit (PMU)
Draft procurement submissions
Update commitment register
Ensure proper capturing of records and posting on pastel
Supervise registry support services and other support services
Manage security officers and security systems
Ensure maintenance and hygiene of building, equipment and machinery
Ensure accessibility to the building through keeping spare keys to all offices
Perform any other official duties as assigned
