VACANCY
To support and coordinate sustainability, ESG, CSI and CPR initiatives by implementing project activities, stakeholder engagements, trust administration, and reporting, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s social and environmental goals.
Duties:

Coordinate programs aligned with sustainability goals and corporate values.

Identify and implement opportunities to reduce environmental impact (e.g., energy, water, waste, carbon footprint).

Work with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to improve sustainable sourcing and operational practices.

Promote green initiatives such as recycling drives, Earth Day events, and sustainability workshops.

Stay informed on global sustainability trends and recommend innovative solutions.

Track and report on key sustainability metrics (energy, water, waste, carbon).

Gather and consolidate data for ESG and CSI reporting.

Serve as the point of contact for sustainability-related audits and inquiries.

Align initiatives with regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards.

Administer statutory requirements of the trust and maintain accurate records.

Handle general enquiries and process grants from beneficiaries.

Maintain proper documentation of trust activities and CSI governance.

Support the integration of sustainability into community and social investment programs.
Required:
-
NQF Level Seven (7) Qualification – Bachelor’s degree in public administration / business administration or bachelor’s degree Communications or Public Relations.

Five (5) years of experience in sustainability, CSI, ESG, or trust/NGO coordination roles.

Experience with data collation and impact reporting.

Familiarity with stakeholder engagement, event coordination, and basic financial administration.

Knowledge of statutory and governance requirements for Trusts or Foundations.

Ability to draft reports, communication briefs, and stakeholder summaries.
-
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel (Power BI) and PowerPoint.

ESG Reporting or Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards Certification (advantageous).

Driver’s license with own vehicle.
