Purpose of the Position

The Project Coordinator will manage the central information hub to enhance the sharing of knowledge and information among CSOs in Namibia. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and delivering interventions for information collection, dissemination, and networking within Namibia’s civil society sector. The role also involves maintaining and updating a comprehensive information hub to support the development and sustainability of CIVIC+264, and advocating for effective and efficient policy implementation for the benefit of civil society in Namibia1.

• Be informed about current affairs and their implications for civil society1.
• Possess excellent organisational, administrative, and communication skills1.
• Be meticulous with data management and documentation1.
• Have experience in minute-taking, fundraising, and reporting1.
• Be IT proficient with a strong command of office software1.
• Exhibit punctuality, reliability, and a goal-oriented approach1.
• Hold a valid driver’s licence1.

Required Qualifications

• Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Political Science, Public Administration, Administrative Studies, Project Management, or a related field1.
• Desirable: Post-graduate qualification in a relevant discipline1.
• Work Environment
• Based in Windhoek, with occasional travel across Namibia required1.
