Ongava Game Reserve is seeking to recruit two (2) Security Room Operators. This full-time position involves the monitoring and operation of security surveillance systems, including CCTV monitoring, data capture, and subsequent data analysis.
Position Details
•Job Title: Security Room Operator
•Reports To: Reserve Manager
•Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
•Operate and monitor security surveillance systems
•Monitor CCTV footage
•Capture and manage data
•Analyse security data and generate reports
Requirements
•Grade 12 Certificate (matric)
•Certificate or Diploma in Computer Science (advantageous)
•Minimum of 2 years’ experience in security and surveillance systems
•Strong technical knowledge including:
•Network security
•Intrusion detection and prevention systems
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•High ethical standards and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer use
•Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
•Strong attention to detail
•Interest in conservation (advantageous)
