KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
•Plan, update and implement training plan and schedules in line with the Learning and Development strategy.
•Organize logistics for all training sessions, including venues, materials, and facilitators.
•Provide support in verifying the credibility of service providers by conducting due diligence checks.
•Coordinate and compile individual development plans.
•Facilitate the onboarding of new employees by coordinating induction sessions and materials.
•Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the induction process, gathering feedback for improvements.
•Administer the Vocational Education and Training (VET) levy process, ensuring timely submissions.
•Verify training programs and courses eligible for VET levy refunds, ensuring compliance with legislation.
•Maintain accurate records of all learning activities, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
•Prepare monthly reports on training interventions.
•Administer the Young Professional Program, coordinating the recruitment, onboarding, and development of young professionals.
•Coordinate mentorship and coaching sessions to support young professionals’ career development.
The Learning and Growth Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting all Learning and Development (L&D) activities, including effective employee onboarding, skill development, and ensuring compliance with training levy requirements. The role oversees the administration of the Young Professional Program, contributing to the growth and development of early-career talent.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
•Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) in Human Resources, Education, or a related field from a recognized and accredited tertiary institution.
•A minimum of two (2) years’ work experience in learning and development or a similar role.
•Good verbal and written communications skills.
•Good customer orientation or focus.
•Well-developed interpersonal sensitivity and teamwork.
•Excellent planning and organizing skills with an attention to detail.
