Purpose:
Lead the development of policies and programs to support the full participation of persons with disabilities in all areas of life, as mandated by the Namibian Constitution and the National Disability Council Act.
Minimum Requirements:
•Master’s degree in Social Sciences or related field
•7 years’ relevant experience, with at least 3 in a supervisory role
•Strong analytical, research, and project management skills
•Valid driver’s license
Key Responsibilities:
•Develop and implement strategic plans and policies
•Lead research, program design, monitoring, and reporting
•Manage disability data systems and knowledge sharing
•Engage with donors and stakeholders
•Supervise department staff
•Oversee and monitor departmental budgeting
