JOB DESCRIPTION
- Develop and manage detailed construction project plans, including defining scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop project requirements and specifications.
- Establish project goals and ensure that all deliverable align with business objectives and quality standards.
- Lead and supervise the construction team, including project managers, site supervisors, engineers, and other construction professionals.
- Provide mentorship, training, and performance feedback to ensure that the team meets project goals and safety standards.
Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring that resources are optimized across multiple projects.
- Develop and manage construction project budgets, ensuring that all expenses are tracked and managed within set parameters.
Monitor project costs and financial performance, identifying potential cost-saving opportunities and resolving any budget issues.
- Approve expenditures and ensure that the project stays within financial constraints.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe work environment for all workers and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and resolve any safety issues or hazards promptly.
- Ensure that all contractual obligations are met and that work is completed according to the project specifications.
- Identify potential project risks, including delays, cost overruns, and safety concerns, and implement strategies to mitigate these risks. Ensure that construction projects adhere to sustainability principles, incorporating environmentally friendly practices where possible. • Stay up-to-date with the latest construction technologies, materials, and methods, incorporating innovation into project planning and
execution.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP), LEED) is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Strong background in budgeting, cost control, and project management software.
