Job description

• Supervise and lead a team of bricklayers and laborers.
• Plan and schedule work activities tomeet project deadlines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure that materials and tools are available and in good condition.
• Conduct quality control checks on work performed toensure it meets industry standards.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior team members.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other trades to facilitate project progression.
• Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and regulations.
• Handle any issues or conflicts that arise on the job site effectively.
• Complete daily reports on progress, safety, and materials used.

Requirements

• Diploma in bricklaying and tiling
• 7 years of working experience as a bricklayer foreman
• Experience in multi-story building construction and experience in working for large projects costing over N$200 million.
• Drive-license
