Post designation : Chief Engineer Grade 5
1 x Post : Windhoek
Scale of Salary : N$ 400, 001 – N$478,220
Housing Allowance : N$ 13, 080 per annum
Transport Allowance : N$ 7, 680 per annum

Minimum Requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering (NQF Level 7 or higher) or equivalent qualification plus 5 years appropriate experience of which 3 years must be in the agricultural industry PLUS Registration as an Incorporated or Professional Engineer with the Engineering Council of Namibia. The incumbent must have a valid code B driver’s license.
Additional Requirements:
• Sound knowledge of public procurement
• Sound technical knowledge of on farm infrastructure and machinery
• Conversant with Autodesk suite CAD Software 2020 of better
• Proven Track record in the design of energy infrastructure
• Proven Track record in the agricultural Machinery management
• Computer literacy – MS Word, MS power Point, MS Excel
Additional Skills Required:
• Sound leadership ability and strong analytical skills
• Sound methodology and scientific approach
• Knowledge of Project Management and Planning ability
• Broad knowledge of maintenance science for agricultural infrastructure, systems, implements and machineries
• Good interpersonal skills and problem solving ability
