ACHlEVE is a five-year. USAID-funded global cooperative agreement with the dual objectives of attaining and sustaining HIV epidemic control among at-risk and hard to reach pregnant and breastfeeding (PBF) women, infants, children, and youth, as well as to mitigate the impact of HIV /AIDS and prevent HIV transmission among these populations and supporting the transition of prime funding and implementation to capable local partners in order to meet the PEPFAR goal of 70% funding to local partners. CAA is implementing ACHIEVE/DREAMS project under Jhpiego in three health districts of Kavango East region: Andara, Nyangana and Rundu, including the one health district of Oshana region: Oshakati. CAA is leading the ACHIEVE/DREAMS activities at community implementation level, targeting the Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW), with specific focus on HIV prevention and integration to SRH services and linkage to care and treatment services, gender-based violence prevention and care services, HIV impact mitigation, education and economic empowerment. CAA is recruiting for the following position:
JOB TITLE: Site Coordinator
NUMBER OF POSTS: 2
DUTY STATION: Oshakati (x2)
Primary purpose of the position:
To provide overall coordination of all DREAMS activities at Site level. This involves coordinating interventions and overseeing planning, implementation and monitoring of
DREAMS activities at site levels.
Minimum requirements:
- Grade 12 and 2 year tertiary qualification in Social
- Work, Community Development and or Business/
- Office Administration
- 3 year working experience in Community Development and administration of which 1 years should be on supervisory level
- Experience coordinating public health programs with government and or civil society partners
- Experience working in NGO environment at clinical or community level will be an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Computer skills (Word Processing, PowerPoint, Excel and e-mail 😉
- Valid driver’s license with at least 2 years driving experience is a must
Additional requirements for all advertised positions:
- Fluency in English and at least one local language is a must
- Strong identification with Christian principles and the mission of Catholic AIDS Action
