AERTMC Maintenance Technician Assistant x1 – Road Traffic Management Services (PTY) LTD

The Road Traffic Management Services (PTY) LTD seeks to
recruit qualified Namibians for the Arandis Emergency
Response and Traffic Management Centre (AERTMC) in Arandis.

Job Purpose: To assist in the preventative and corrective maintenance works within the Maintenance Department. Will also be responsible for the management and installation, maintenance and support of the IT infrastructure and services of the AERTMC.

Education / Qualifications and Experience:

• Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent
• Valid Code BE (8) driver’s license (Would be an advantage)
• Relevant IT or Electronic qualification or Minimum 5-year experience in ITS environment
• A+ Desktop Support, N+ Network Support

Notes:

• The candidate will need to be of strong mental health as he/she will have access to sensitive video footage of road incidents and accidents.
• The candidate should be able to work without constant supervision.
• The candidate should not have any criminal record.
• The candidate should be prepared to work hours that will fall on weekends and public holidays, as well as early morning and late evenings.

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• First line desktop and network support
• Managing and prioritizing support tickets related to the AERTMC
• Working closely with providers to log and resolve tickets
• Prioritizing and managing open tickets
• Collect data and report on any trends
• Support maintenance teams (internal and external) where required
