Programme Manager – Advanced Community Health Care Services Namibia (CoHeNa)

Advanced Community Health Care Services Namibia (CoHeNa) is locally registered NGO under Section 21 of the Companies Act, 1973 and also as a Welfare Organisation. CoHeNa is committed to reducing the transmission of TB and HIV infections as well as the morbidity and mortality caused by these infections in order to improve the quality of life of the population in the targeted regions and beyond.

CoHeNa invites applications from suitably qualified
candidates for the following vacancy:

1. Programme Manager for Omaheke and Hardap regions (one position)

Programme Manager (PM) is a senior management position responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of all CoHeNa programmes activities at regional level as well as ensuring achievement of set targets in close liaison with the Executive Director. The PM inter alia builds capacity for CoHeNa staff and facilitates performance appraisals. The PM also ensures improved quality of services and patient satisfaction

Key result areas:

• Programme management; Capacity building; Resource management and Monitoring and evaluation

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Nursing
• Degree in Community Development; Degree in Public Health
• Knowledge and experience on community-based TB/HIV prevention and care
• Experience in working for NGOs
• Vast experience in planning, implementation, monitoring & evaluation as well as reporting of community health programmes
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills with excellent communication skills both oral and written
• Computer literate
• Ability to work independently, and remain focused on organisational outcomes
• Valid driver’s license an advantage.

Salary package in line with Global Fund budget. (2021 to 2023)
