Title: Surgical Representative

Job Description:
To represent the functions and interests of GC Medical in all required hospital departments and settings. Marketing and Sales of Medical Equipment, Devices and Disposables in surgical theatres, pharmacies and Hospital Wards. Manage and maintain customer needs, stock levels and clinical training on a daily basis.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Travel to and assist all customers in allocated territory as required or designated by the comp,.

• Keep an updated customer and prospects list of your allocated area.

• Sell and train on your allocated product basket to all doctors, nurses and other health care professionals in your responsible territory.

• Make sure your customers and well trained and knowledgeable concerning all your product lines.

• Create and follow strategic marketing and sales plans for your territory, customers and product lines. Be able to close sales and create and execute sales a. marketing plans.

• Plan and report on daily, weekly and monthly activities.

• Arrange appointment with Doctors, pharmacists and Medical professionals.

• Build relationships with health care professionals and medical staff.

• Perform product demonstrations, installations, and application support.

• Maintain product knowledge and sales techniques to achieve a pass rates on all tests as set by company.

Education:

• Minimum Education required is Nursing AND/OR Sales and Marketing Diploma or equivalent

• Candidates with 2 or more years’ experience theatre/nursing OR medical sales/marketing environments will be a benefit

• Must be computer literate

Transport:

• Must have a valid Driver’s License

• Reliable own vehicle is a plus
