SUPERINTENDENT: PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Business Unit: Network Engineering
Paterson Grade: D1
Duty Station: Walvis Bay

Purpose of the job:
• To cost effectively plan, manage, approval of design documentation, costing of projects and perform critical and advanced project research and development work on specific electricity distribution units and components to meet the electricity construction, distribution and installation standards and targets to allocated urban and rural areas projects.

Qualifications Required:
• Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Electrical) or Bachelor of Technology (Electrical) or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering,

Technician qualifications
• Qualifications rated at NQA Level 7
• Advance Project Management qualifications
• Advanced Supervisory training

Preferred Qualification:
• NQA recognised tertiary qualification rated at NQA level 8

• Two (2) years supervisory experience
• Two (2) years project management
• Advanced computer literacy training in project management
Professional Registration:
• Registered Engineering Technician (Electrical) with Namibia Engineering Council
License required:
• Code BE Drivers Licence.
