WELDING TEAM LEADER
DEPARTMENT: WORKSHOP
JOB GRADE: A2
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB (SUMMARY)
To Supervise Welding Team and
Build frames, repair skips and other equipment
QUALIFICATIONS AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Grade 12
- Driver’s license will be an advance
- 5 – 10 years’ experience with welding/boiler making
- 5 – 10 years’ experience supervision & leadership experience
KEY SKILLS
- Repairs and maintenance on all skips, equipment etc. – Do all welding repairs on trucks/vehicles Assist with all repairs and maintenance
- Do all skip repairs and sprays on skips
- Build frames and other necessary equipment for the company
- Supervise the Yard Welding team
- Timeous & quality completion job cards
- Ensure all Welding & Boilermaker HR & OSHE Policies & procedures are adhere to
