Water Treatment Control Teclinician- FSN – 07
The incumbent reports to the Building Engineer Supervisor. The incumbent is employed as a journeyman Water Treatment Technician carrying out skilled maintenance and repair work throughout the New Embassy Compound (NEC) on critical and non-critical water distribution components within the functional/office buildings, on -compound ancillary support and residential buildings, above and below ground infrastructures, recreational facilities, and other owned/leased properties. Responsible for the operation, repair, and preventative maintenance of the potable water cisterns, raw water cisterns, water distribution system, and reverse osmosis system. Area of responsibility include distribution system water quality checks, planning and operating activities, water quality emergency response, basic pump maintenance, and routine pipe checks. Performs process control and other duties necessary for routine facility operation. Performs technical troubleshooting, water quality evaluation, and communicated with the Facility Manager and Building Engineer. Independently operate and monitorthe fire suppression and domestic system water levels and provide repair to water treatment equipment. Accurately records compliance documentation as related to routine operations.
