Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the branch, and ensure the operational challenges are effectively resolved.
- Ensure excellent customer service at the branch and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Manage the appearance of the branch and protection of company assets.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, reporting, and collection of debtors.
- Develop business plans that will enable the branch to meet agreed company objectives.
- Evaluate local market conditions and identify potential opportunities.
- Manage and control all inventory held at the branch and the national warehouse.
- Manage the branch’s activities to ensure that financial and administrative procedures, standards and objectives are met.
- Maximise the branch profitability according to agreed budgets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team to ensure high motivation and performance levels.
- Identify areas of improvement and recommend corrective actions for development.
- Report to Tiger Wheel & Tyre Namibia Operations Manager.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of management experience in the retail industry.
- Strong leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
- Effective selling, communication, interpersonal and customer relationship management skills.
- Sound understanding of management principles, including Industrial Relations
- Sound working knowledge of any main ERP, and experience in SAGE will be an advantage
- Grade 12 (Matric) with a minimum of 23 points.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business Management, Sales, or a related field will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Valid Driver’s License.
