Key Responsibilities
- Knowledge of tyre balancing and puncture repairs
- Product knowledge and defect identification
- Correctly lift motor vehicle
- Utilise correct tools for the job
- Correctly fit tyres to rim
- Report any defects to the Branch Manager e.g. studs, washers, and wheel nuts
- Inflate tyres according to manufacturer’s specifications
- Apply safety standards
- Torque wheel nuts to manufactures specifications
- Receive customers in a friendly manner and with a smile
Requirements
- Good interpersonal skills
- High level of accuracy
- Effective communication skills and ability to work as a team
- Ability to work with clients
- Ability to work under pressure and have great attention to detail
- A minimum of 1 year experience as a tyre technician OR have the ability to be a fast and trainable learner
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Valid Driver’s License.
