The Role

Truck Drivers are responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of goods to customers in and around Windhoek, including:

• Ensuring the correct stock is loaded and off-loaded at each store safely, without shortages/damages.
• Ensuring the customer signs for proof of delivery and that the POD (invoice) is returned.
• Ensuring Pallet Controls are adhered to and returned as per
• Inspecting vehicles daily to ensure mechanical and safety issues are recorded and addressed (Vehicle Log Control).
• Maintaining the delivery routes to optimize fuel consump­tion and turn-around times, while adhering to rules of the road.

Qualifications & Requirements

=>Grade 12 certificate

=>A code C1 Drivers License (incl. PDP)

=> Experience in FMCG deliveries is advantageous

=> Advanced driving skills/capabilities are essential

=> A First Aid Certificate is advantageous
