TRANSPORT OPERATIONS MANAGER – TRANS-WEB

DESCRIPTION

We seek a Transport Operations Manager who will be providing logistic services as part of our team.

Your responsibilities will include planning, management, and coordination of transport operations to ensure smooth distribution of client goods as and when required either inland or cross border.

Requirements / Qualification & Experience:
• Must be a Namibian Citizen
• Must reside in Windhoek
• Gr 12
• Valid Drivers License
• At least 3 years transport operations managements experience
• Prior successes in transport operations with proven track record of successes achieved
• Must be able to market and sell our transport requirements
• Must be able to function independently
• Transport brokerage background will be an advantage
• Project Management experience
• Fully computer literate and self

High level responsibilities:
1. Manage transport projects/clients /sub-contractors ensuring deliverables are met as per time and client requirements.
2. Liaise with all role players effectively to ensure targets are met
3. Receive orders for transport and execute delivery via sub-contractors base
4. Manage the transport operations process ensure goods are collected when required and delivered when required for projects allocated to you
5. Expand sub-contractor base / Manage sub-contractors
