TRAINING OFFICER (TRACK WELDING)
Duty Station: Windhoek
Paterson Grading Level: C3
Department: Human Capital

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To coordinate, control, supervise the execution of the railway project verses Transnamib daily operations in order to ensure efficient occupation of the railway line with little impact of Transnamib operations as well as allowing the completion of the project, by always adhering to the stipulated standards, speed limits restriction and by communicating closing and reopening of certain completed sections to ensure adherence to safety rules and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
· Trade Certificate in welding.
· Five years welding experience as an artisan.
· Practical working knowledge of welding.
· Permanent way welding skills, presentation skills, good communication (verbal &written), good
· interpersonal skills, analytical skills, and computer literacy skills.
· Self-starting initiatives, emotional maturity, self-control, assertiveness, time management,
independent, and reliable.

· Training needs analysis
· Course/ program design
· Course/ Programme presentation
· Course/ program evaluation and follow up
· Training administration
