PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To engage in workshop instruction and training, including the academic, administrative, educational, and disciplinary aspects and to organize extra and co-curriculum activities to increase Trainee’s knowledge and skills and prepare them for employment.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAs)
⦁ Prepares practical and theoretical training materials, visual aids, exercises, and venue for training.
⦁ Facilitates and presents theoretical and practical training as per planning and preparation.
⦁ Conducts trainee assessments and evaluation of trainee performance.
⦁ Facilitates on the job practical training or simulation and assesses trainees through observation.
⦁ Writes feedback reports on training delivered and assessment results (internal or external).
⦁ Moderate theoretical and practical training and assessment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
⦁ Diploma in Agriculture (NQF-6), Specialised in Horticulture (from accredited institution).
⦁ National Vocational Instructor Diploma.
⦁ Foreign qualifications must be evaluated.
⦁ Driver’s License Code C
⦁ Namibian Citizen.

Supplementary requirements
⦁ Teaching experience in Agriculture, and Horticulture.
⦁ Trainer of Trainer, Assessor and Moderator Certificate will be an added advantage.
