TOURISM DEVELOPMENT MANAGER / GUIDE TRAINER

Please Note: A partner with a strong 5* Lodge Management would also be considered.

Role

Responsible for the development of Tourist and Guest activities and excursions, guest ecological interaction, cultural education, and most importantly develop and intensively train nature field guides.
Encourage and manage current and future projects on the reserve
Fieldwork, general wildlife observation and species surveys.
The role will also include getting upliftment of guides qualification, and ensuring they are more experienced with guiding on foot in Dangerous game area and assessed.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Senior Management position
Minimum 7 years’ experience as Nature guide
FGASA qualification equivalent to NQF 4 or higher Nature Site guide
FGASA Full Trails Qualification
Advanced Rifle Handling Certificate
Driver’s license with valid PDP
Stable employment history and at least 3 contactable references
Start – ASAP

Salary – N$35 000 plus live-in benefits
