An exciting and challenging opportunity is available for a regional manager at the exclusive TimBila Nature Reserve close to Omaruru.

TimBila Nature Reserve offers prime conservation practices complemented and supported by exclusive ecotourism. The Regional Manager will be responsible for leading a dynamic team to manage and grow TimBila. The following people will report to the RM:

– Farm manager

– Hospitality managers

– Reserve manager

• Financial manager

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years hospitality experience
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience
• Experience as a Reneral Manager or similar executive role

The Regional Manger should have sound knowledge

• Marketing
• Financial Management
• Operations Management
• Human Resources Management

Responsibilities:

• Design strategy and set goals for growth.
• Control budgets and optimize expenses.
• Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance.
• Prepare regular reports for upper management.
• Develop strategic plans by studying technological and financial opportunities; presenting assumptions; recommending objectives.
• Accomplish objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; making mid-course corrections.
• Coordinate efforts by establishing procurement, production, marketing, and technical services policies and practices, coordinating actions with staff.
• Build company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees, enforcing ethical business practices.
• Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards.
• Contribute to team effort by actively managing the staff compliment.
• Execute any reasonable tasks that may have been instructed.
