Introduction | The Marketing, Public Relations and Communications Manager is responsible for the effective marketing of NAMCOR in a manner that promotes a positive corporate image. Also, this position serves as a central source of information about NAMCOR and as an official channel of communication between NAMCOR and its stakeholders including the public; bringing to stakeholders’ attention, through appropriate media, significant facts, opinions, and interpretations that will enhance NAMCOR’s image and brand and foster an understanding of its business amongst all stakeholders and the general public. | ||

Specification | •Develops and implements an effective strategic marketing plan. •Manages all marketing for the company and activities within the marketing department. •Oversees NAMCOR’s marketing budget. •Responsible for the creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans. •Plans and implements promotional campaigns. •Manages and improves lead generation campaigns, measuring results. •Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity •Prepares online and print marketing campaigns. •Monitors and reports on the effectiveness of marketing communications. •Creates a wide range of different marketing materials. •Works closely with design agencies and assisting with new product launches. •Maintains effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant NAMCOR functions are kept informed of marketing objectives •Devises and implements a campaign to communicate the Strategic Management Plan to employees at all levels. •Formulates action plans, in consultation with heads of departments, to achieve the visions of the SMP. •Coordinates and monitors the implementation of action plans and gives regular feedback to EXCO on progress made with the Corporate Strategy. •Liaises with Senior Management to develop integrated annual communication, branding, public relations strategy, and operational plan (including annual events calendar) that is aligned to business objectives. •Drafts annual report, in consultation with the MD, ensuring that the report meets NAMCOR’s branding and professional design requirements. •Identifies action steps designed to promote and maintain NAMCOR’s vision and mission. •Designs and manages a communication structure for internal and external purposes, taking all stakeholders into account. | ||
Requirements | Bachelors’ Degree (NQF Level 7) in Marketing, Journalism or related qualification from an accredited tertiary institution An MBA would be an added advantage At least seven (7) years’ experience in an environment where incumbent coordinates the entire communication cycle from planning to implementation, working with a broad spectrum of internal and external stakeholders including media of which five (5) years should be at management level | ||
