Key Responsibilities
- Perform minor and major mechanical repairs and services.
- Ensure job cards are completed accurately and promptly.
- Diagnose faults and report on necessary parts or repairs.
- Communicate progress effectively to the Workshop Foreman.
- Achieve workshop production targets and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Participate in standby and emergency duties as assigned.
- Assist in managing work-in-progress (WIP) vehicles and ensure workflow efficiency.
- Support the training and mentorship of technician trainees.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric Certificate).
- Qualified Technician (Level 3 certification).
- 3-5 years of proven experience as a qualified Technician.
- Namibian citizenship.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Proficient in English and Afrikaans.
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems and servicing.
- Experience with V10 or other dealership management systems is an advantage.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized with strong planning abilities.
- Capable of working under pressure and handling challenges.
