TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE – Central Technical Supplies (Pty) Ltd.

Location of job: Windhoek (Must be willing to travel)

Summary of duties and responsibilities:
• The primary duties of the technical sales representative are to sell and promote CTS core products – Mechanical and Electrical Engineering & general automation fields. This includes handling unsolicited queries and contacting potential clients. Must be willing to travel within the whole of Namibia to customers. A sales representative supplies information to potential customers about the products, follows up with current clients about satisfaction, and solicit new customers.

Education & Experience:
♦ A completed tertiary qualification in an electrical/industrial field.
• Sales experience: Minimum 3 years in the Electrical and/or Instrumentation field.

Specialised skills and knowledge:
• Enthusiasm and willingness to work hard is essential (energetic).
• Must enjoy the challenge of making contact with important members of the buying centre and the challenge of getting high- level corporate executives on the phone.
• Computer literate (MS Office- Word + Excel + Outlook).
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Drivers licence: BE
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans. German would be an advantage.
• Should be able to fit into company’s working environment.
• Personality should fit the specific job profile.
