Primary purpose of this position
• To ensure public adherence to building codes and regulations.

Building plans
Illegal Construction
Relocation
Any other tasks

Minimum requirements:

Grade 12 with Dip)oma/NM3 Building Construction or equivalent qualification.
Two (2) year relevant working experience is required.
Knowledge of the Local Authorities Act. Municipal Building Regulations. Town Planning Schemes (Zoning Schemes). National Building Regulations.
Good communication skills.
Accuracy
Valid code BE driving license
Must be a Namibian Crteen
Candidates with a Peace officer or law enforcement qualifications wdl receive preference

Convetitive salary, annual leave, very attractive medical aid of which Council contribute 85% and member 15%. pension fund of Council contnbute 21.7%. transport allowance, annual bonus/l3th cheque, housing aiowance of 20% of an annual salary; and in case of a bond Council offer housing subsidy of 40% of an annual salary.
