TECHNICAL AGRI SERVICES MANAGER – O&L Fresh Produce

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
To manage the technical services & requirements for Otavifontein farm to ensure operational efficiencies..

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Lead & manage the technical & maintenance teams on the farm.
Responsible to manage the standby (breakdown) time within the set performance parameters.
Responsible for all electrical, water infrastructure & mechanical related services, repairs and maintenance including the management of related service providers.
Assist with the budgetary projection for the technical services of the farm as well as the management thereof.
Assist with all technical related aspects for approved projects, which includes feasibility and proposals.
Responsible for the overall security management of the farm, which may include all support systems (alarms, cameras, etc.)
Manage the administration, quotes, invoices and system requirements related to the technical services on the farm.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES
Grade 12 with a National Trade Certificate in Electrical and/or mechanical engineerin
A minimum of 5 – 8 years post apprenticeship experience of which at least 3 years at managerial level.
