TEAM LEADER

Minimum requirements:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Team Leader or Workshop foreman
• Strong technical, electrical and workshop administration background.
• Technical courses completed through the manufacturer would be an advantage
• Must have experience in the financial side of a workshop and run his team effectively.
• Managing CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index)
• Must be able to work without supervision
• Willing and able to travel. Visit service centers in Namibia and attend workshops at MAN Automotive South Africa.
• Willing to work overtime
• Courses complete in people management customer services and problem-solving skills, will be an added advantage.
• Must have experience in assisting technically to diagnose and solve mechanical issues.
• Must be computer literate
• Must have a Knowledge of franchise requirements and standards.
• Minimum Code CE with a valid PDP
• Valid Passport to travel to South Africa
• Following warranty procedures
• High standard of workmanship is a definite requirement
• Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers
• Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment

Maintaining of optimisation processes aimed at optimal efficiency

Hain responsibilities will include:

To ensure maximum throughput of labor sales per day

To gain maximum productivity and efficiency out of technicians

Ensure that all sundries and controlled wastages of consumables are minimized

To ensure a high level of motivation with subordinates

• To assist technical subordinates in solving and analyzing mechanical problems
• To maintain maximum service CSI percentage and workshop throughput
• To participate actively in solving customer problems
• Be able to perform and complete all workshop relate administration, job cards, campaigns, warranty etc.
• Knowledge and experience to diagnose and repair all different Transmissions, Power-plants and Steering boxes.
• Manage and maintain Workshop Productivity Standards.
• Maximizing service sales and profitability by crating customer confidence in the Dealership by providing quality service

o Ensure that a “fix right first time” standard is maintained

o Monitor and improve Customer Service levels
